End or November 2025 Chevrolet released a new commercial called "Memory Lane." It's a fantastic reminder of what great advertising, marketing and execution can be. To my knowledge there was no AI used in the production of the commerical.
The ad agency was Anomaly, the production company was Park Pictures, it was directed (and DP'd) by the acclaimed Lance Acord, and edited by Cut At Trim by Mikkel E. G. Nielsen. The thread that tugs at the viewers heart is the music track by The Cinematic Orchestra called "To Build A Home." The entire production creates a nostalgic story about a husband and wife, now empty nesters, revisiting family memories in their Chevy Suburban. Notice how the 'memories' visuals change from a contemporary rectangular movie style Letterboxing to a retro square rounded corner Set-Top Box (STB). Those consistent touches of craft make this an authentic feeling masterpiece. Cudos to the creative team and GM client: CMO: Steve Majoros, Global VP: Scott Bell, Director Brand Strategy & Creative Excellence: Connor Huber, Creative Excellence Brand Lead: Jamie Delaney, Brand Campaign Lead: Jaztan Teen.
